Seamless Soul returns hot on the heels of the fantastic Hennings Project release – Do You Believe It, with the new release from Beaten Soul. His two previous releases on Seamless, Change (Bring It) and That’s House Music, were both great successes and this third release has all the same promise. After working with legendary names like Keith Thompson and Tyree Cooper, he has collaborated with Maiya, who has had releases on labels such as Purple Music, MN2S and Cr2 and she previously worked with Justin Michael and Phonic Funk on a track released on Seamless back on 2010. The original mix is typical of Beaten Soul's style. Beats for the
dance floor, with a sub bass carrying the track and synth chords opening out and closing again to give the track its dynamics.
For the remix package we have brought in the talents of Dave Mayer and Spiritual Blessings all no strangers to riding high in the charts.
Dave Mayer has released tracks and has remixed for venerable labels such as Strictly Rhythm, Om, Salted, Large and previously Seamless. For his remix, delivers his trade mark style groove with slightly jackin' beats
and sub bass, this track gets its groove from the synths that are intricately placed and filtered to great effect.
Spiritual Blessings have worked with and remixed artists that reads like a Who's Who, like Barbara Tucker, Charles Spencer, Kenny Bobien, Groove Assassin, Born To Funk and Roy Davis Jr. For their remix, they have taken this track down a deep US vibe. With excellent production; the beats are tight with light percussion. The synth pads draw you through the track and it’s a beautifully laid out mix. This also comes with a dub that is reminiscent of previous Dennis Ferrer tracks, with more percussion and but a more stripped feel to it. This is a very classy underground remix. All in all a great release hard on the heels of the success of Hennings Project.
